This 1960's rustic chalet has been professionally designed and renovated to maintain that classic cozy cabin feel yet updated with all the modern day amenities that you'd expect in a chic chalet. Ideally located in the picturesque neighborhood of Moonridge, this home is minutes away from Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the new Big Bear Alpine Zoo and only a quick drive to Snow Summit. So pack your bags because you've just found your perfect home away from home! The space The Exterior: FLAT DRIVEWAY! Creekside Chalet is located in a beautiful, picturesque ravine. This chic cabin was recently painted a deep, rich green to help blend in with it's natural habitat. Directly across the street from Rathbun Creek, a mostly dry creek bed, this location provides you with unobstructed views of the creek and sloping hillsides. There are no houses across the street and the hillside behind the home slopes high up to the neighboring street, so no visible houses behind you... ultimately giving you the true feeling of being one with nature. The Interior: The interior of the home has been recently renovated and designed by our favorite designers! This new chic chalet not only pleases the senses, but it also provides functionality! The first floor consists of a fully stocked brand new kitchen, one bedroom with a king size bed, one full bathroom with bathtub, new laundry area (tucked under the stairs and hidden by a rustic barn door), an open concept living/dining area with a gorgeous new gas log fireplace and a beautiful outdoor sitting deck. Upstairs you'll find a gorgeous newly renovated bathroom and two more beautifully designed bedrooms. The bedroom to the left has another plush king size bed and the bedroom to your right consists of two full size beds plus a sitting area for the kids to watch movies or... the perfect spot for us gamers! Guest access Guest have access to the entire house, including a small storage room located outside by the front door. Other things to note The City of Big Bear Lake requires guests to sign a Good Neighbor Compliance notice when obtaining access codes.
