The Little House of Ouistreham

In 2018, we bought this large, damaged house with the plan to renovate it completely and live by the sea. We started by renovating the cottage, to live there with our 6-month-old boy, before tackling the renovation of the big house. And so the cottage naturally became La Petite Maison. We will be happy to host you, quietly, in this pretty F1 entirely on one level and overlooking the garden. The space The small house consists of a bedroom, living room and kitchenette. The bathroom is separate from the toilet. A desk area is set up in the bedroom. Wi-Fi and Ethernet are available, and we are subscribed to fiber optic. The bedroom is equipped with a bed, with a new 160 cm mattress and bed frame. The apartment is decorated in royal blue and mustard tones, the living room is equipped with a wingback chair and a sofa. Soft lights in the evening promote rest and relaxation. Novels, comics, as well as a TV with Netflix will allow you to have a pleasant stay. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and induction stove and kitchen equipment, as well as a dishwasher. If you need, the garage is at your disposal if you want to park a motorcycle, sidecar included! Independent space for storing bicycles is also available. For cars, street parking is required, which is a residential area with free parking. We park our vehicles there year-round. Guest access Access to the Petite Maison is via the courtyard and garden. A wooden walkway allows you to walk along the side of the house and reach the back overlooking our 400 m2 garden and the Small House. This is attached to our house. So it's a shared garden and access. Other things to note The small house overlooks the garden only and is therefore very quiet. We are a 5-minute walk from the port, the Fish Market and the Pointe du Siege and a protected natural area with lots of birds. We are also a 5-minute walk to the cinema, village, shops and markets. For the large beach, access is on foot in 30 minutes, by bike and car in 5 minutes.
