Montboulard is a 16th‑century estate in the Charente offering charming guest rooms, suites, and cottages for a perfect stay in France. Located near Angoulême, it combines the warmth of a home with the comfort of a quality property, featuring a beautiful 15‑meter heated pool, woodland trails, laundry facilities, and easy parking. Pets are always welcome. The space Le Bois is a three‑bedroom, two‑level gîte facing north in a 17th‑century stone building. The main level combines contemporary style with rustic charm and features a fully equipped kitchen (updated in April 2022) with a dishwasher. A large fireplace anchors a cozy living area with warm, urban‑style furnishings. Upstairs are two bedrooms — one with a 160 cm queen bed and another with a 140 cm double bed and a 90 cm single — all with crisp white linens and duvets. The ground floor offers a single bedroom with a 90 cm bed and direct access to the garden. The private, enclosed garden has a gate, making it ideal for children or pets. Wi‑Fi, pool access, and private parking are always included. Guest access You will of course have access to entire gîte as well as all the common areas of the property. Other things to note In response to our guests who want to control their costs for the long stay, we initially propose a "Limited Services" rate which you can upgrade to a "Full Service" rate for your stay. Please let us know in advance if you want to upgrade your stay. The following items are EXCLUDED from the Limited Services rate that you will have initially reserved on Airbnb : - Weekly cleaning of the gîte - Use of the laundry room and cleaning supplies - Fees for your pet - Firewood for the wood burner in the chimney (electric radiator heat provided) The cost to upgrade your stay from Limited Services to Full Services is 22 EUR per day for every day of your stay.
