On the west coast of central Cornwall this hand built detached timber lodge is perfect for unwinding and exploring all that this county has to offer, from fantastic beaches to stunning walks. A dog friendly lodge that is great for families and friends. The space Montagu’s Harrier Lodge is situated within a gated complex close to the grounds of the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre, which guests can visit at a reduced rate. The lodge is located towards the end of the plot next to the communal grassed area. Self check-in on arrival is via a key safe. There will be a welcome pack to help you to unwind from your long journey. Montagu’s is all on one level, with an open plan living space with cladded ceiling, wooden floors and a pair of French doors leading to a large decked area. Throughout the lodge there is underfloor heating and high speed wifi (average download speed 80 mbps). Living area: Comfy corner sofa, Smart TV with both Netflix & Chromecast and selection of board games and books available. Wood burning stove with a starter pack of wood, logs can be purchased from onsite manager or locally. Kitchen/Dining area: Well equipped kitchen with electric fan assisted cooker, electric induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and Bluetooth radio. Dining table and benches for 6. The sleeping areas include: - Bedroom 1 with king size bed, wardrobe, drawers, dressing table, tower fan and ensuite includes toilet, walk in shower, heated towel rail and basin. - Bedroom 2 has double bed, tower fan, open wardrobe and drawers. - Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds, tower fan, open wardrobe, drawers and a selection of children's books. If required blankets are available in storage under double bed. Main bathroom: Shower over bath, toilet, basin & heated towel rail. Outside area: Through the French doors there is a decked area with dining table/seating. Charcoal BBQ within garden area (charcoal available locally). Coat and shoe storage can be found in the hallway. Welly stand on front porch. Storage cupboard contains highchair, travel cot with mattress (bedding not supplied), iron, ironing board & clothes airer. We are dog friendly and are happy to welcome one well behaved dog to stay at a small additional cost. You will find a dog bed and food bowls available for your four legged friend. Please be advised that a rule of the complex is that dogs are kept on the lead onsite. 7.4kw Untethered EV Charger, you will need to bring your own type 2 cable. Due to the short distance from the A39 you will hear some road noise. The lodge has a natural water supply from a bore hole.
