Yew Tree Cottage is a newly converted 2 bedroom property tucked away in a quiet location off Broad Street within Ludlow town centre - just around the corner from Ludlow Castle and the town square. It features a spacious lounge with a kitchen area and work space, as well as 2 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4 people. There is a quiet, generously sized courtyard which is surrounded by private gardens. Free on street parking is available for 1 car with a digital car park permit. The space Tucked away in the hub of the town centre, Yew Tree Cottage is a recent, sympathetically converted 2 bedroom dwelling. It is accessed via a quiet, cobbled walkway from the main street and enjoys a level of privacy and peacefulness that is difficult to find elsewhere within the town centre. The property boasts a combination of vaulted ceilings as well as a Victorian lantern which illuminates the spacious living space. The front door from the walkway leads into a corridor which opens out into the quiet, secluded courtyard which is surrounded by private gardens. The entrance to Yew Tree Cottage itself is via a recently restored Victorian porch - leading into a very large living room with a kitchen area and workspace. The kitchen area is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, along with other standard essentials. Within the pine-floored living area there is a large, 43 inch HD TV ( Freesat) in addition to a DAB radio. The lounge features a sofa as well as an armchair, in addition to a dedicated workspace with its own desk and chair. The property is single story and the two bedrooms are either side of the living room. The main bedroom has vaulted ceilings, a velux window and a further window that looks out upon the private courtyard. This bedroom features a king-sized bed with a pocket sprung mattress in addition to a wardrobe. The second bedroom also features vaulted ceilings, along with two single beds with hanging and draw space. Each bedroom has towels provided with throws. There is a modern, converted bathroom with a walk-in shower as well as extra towels provided. The enclosed, private courtyard comes with a garden table and chairs. The property is heated via a heat source pump which is located in the courtyard. The cottage is an all-electric property. The entrance passage through the outer door is ideal for providing covered storage for up to 2 bikes. Guest access The cottage is a single story dwelling. It is accessed via a sidepath walkway off Broad Street which is cobbled but can also be uneven in places. Guests must be mobile to be able to climb steps. The property has six steps leading down into the courtyard and two steps leading up to the entrance. There is also 1 step up leading into the main bedroom. There is a digital lock on the first outer door on the walkway - the combination will be sent prior to your visit. A key will be left in the second main door (into the property itself) for your own use upon arrival. There will be free on street parking for a single car through Shropshire Council's digital car park scheme. The system will need to be updated with your car details, so your car registration will need to be provided prior to your visit. We do not supply travel cots and high chairs for young children. Other things to note Covered storage for up to two bicycles within the entrance passage.
