We have a beautiful private apartment setting above the garage 25 mins from Downtown St. Louis. On site summer fun includes fishing, swimming, campfires, or walking the trails. Most guest love the option of interacting with our animals. We have cats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. All of them are outside pets. Kids are welcome to collect the fresh eggs, or play with the cats. All of our Labs are people friendly, but fenced. We are close to Orchards, Wineries, and great restaurants. We have trails through the woods, if you want to walk through the trails. Find the 7 bridges we have built along the trails! You can walk up to our very old private cemetery to have an awesome view of the area. This point is the second highest point is St. Clair County. We have a 5 acre lake stocked for fishing. 10 acres total includes wooded area with walking trails. We do live in the main part of the house, which is separate from loft apartment. The guest’s room has an outside entrance. It is above the garage and is an apartment like setting with its own thermostat, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. We are available to start campfires, or recommend places to eat if wanted. We only interact as much as our guests would like us to interact. :-) We are not far off of HWY 15., and Jefferson Rd in Belleville, IL. This country home is 1 mile off of Jefferson Rd. Jefferson Rd is directly across from the Weingarten Winery. Our address is not always GPS-able directly to the house. Go .9 miles once you get onto Jefferson Rd. You will see 4 mailboxes just before the road curves to the left on Jefferson Rd. Go RIGHT onto the rock road that is BEHIND those mailboxes then through the white vinyl fencing. It is NOT the first house on the left after going through the vinyl fence, continue on the rock road down the hill then up the hill until you come to the second house. You will park in front of the open garage and your room is up the stairs that are in the garage. You can use the frig in the garage to put any cold food or drinks in. GPS has started bringing in guests down our private lane as well (sometimes), so if it takes you to a frontage road and up a hill toward a shed keep going down that rock road and it will bring you in from the other side of our property. We have plenty of parking for any type of vehicle and multiple vehicles. There is so much to do around the area.
