The Robin’s Nest is set in a peaceful rural hamlet of Humber, just outside Bishopsteignton A 2 minute walk from HUMBER BARN We are popular with wedding guests and their entourage, Bridesmaids and hairdressers welcome on your wedding morning! The Robin’s Nest is the perfect base to explore this beautiful area .Just a few minutes drive from Teignmouth and the glorious South Devon coast Plenty of all year round dog friendly beaches and cafes The space Completely self contained, own entrance and fenced front courtyard with sunny seating and small table , this guest suite is set up with a king bed ( officially deemed comfortable !), two seater sofa , table and chairs . You have a decent size wet room with shower and if “ Travelling light “, you will find bathroom essentials ,including flannels ( never know what to do with a wet flannel!) Sleep masks provided as no blackout blinds , For getting ready for weddings and special occasions you have small iron and hand held clothes steamer stored in wardrobe. Emergency sewing kit in drawer too ! Cosy lighting and terrestrial tv make for a relaxing stay . Fast fibre WiFi here is a bonus in our rural setting ! We welcome pets and I enjoy meeting your doggie family members , your private courtyard space is walled and has a low fence ( check pics ) . Across from parking is a grassy space for poops and pees . My black wheelie bin is marked “The Stables House “ for poo bag disposal . With a pet booking a basket of dog throws and towel is provided ..No sofa rules here ! Just cover ! Water bowl and dog treats too , £12 per stay for pets . Automatically added if you tick the pet box in your original search . Happy for several dogs to stay ( if you feel comfortable bearing in mind small space ! ) You will find a selection of coffee pods for the Nesspresso coffee machine ,chocolate drink sachets,fruit teas and a small selection of cereals and granola ( midnight munchies or an early morning snack ! ) Please note no dedicated kitchen , but you have a microwave and toaster and plenty of plates ,bowls and cutlery in sideboard to enjoy a takeaway or a pizza delivery. For a refreshing cuppa after your journey you will find Semi skimmed milk in small fridge with icebox . Bottled water is also provided. Infants are welcome, ask for high chair and travel cot if you require them. We aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible and are always here to help! Guest access You will need a car and we have ample private parking for up to 4 additional cars in our yard . Security lights including dawn to dusk sensor lights .. Other things to note NEWLY REFURBISHED.. Humber Barn have their quirky pub / beer garden “The Grumpy Farmer” great spot to chill.. open on Fridays at the moment . Great home grown food available too .. Just a couple of miles away ,Teignmouth Golf Club has an excellent bar and restaurant open to all ( 9.00 - 18.00 ) stunning views over estuary . We also have The Old Rydon and The Ten Tors Inn on the edge of Kingsteignton There is also a well stocked village shop in Bishopsteignton . The seaside town of Teignmouth , 4 miles away, has a great choice of pubs and restaurants and takeaways .Check out “Catch 22.” on Teignmouth’s back beach , recently opened and is getting great reviews . Nic Nac Noodle bar offers delicious takeaway just by the Back Beach , Friendly Pubs with music , popular all year round , well supported by us locals! Chanburys wood fired pizza in Kingsteignton deliver here .. ( Give address “ The Stables House “ Humber TQ14 9TD ) Looking for a decent breakfast? Jacks patch restaurant at the Otter Nurseries Garden is 1.5 miles away on the main Teignmouth road they do a great breakfast selection as well as afternoon tea and light lunches . Do hop on the foot ferry across to picturesque Shaldon village .. check out music festivals and regatta ..there is a lot going on our vibrant coastal town !
