The Old Dairy has a vaulted living space with a king sized bed, sleeping 2 on a mezzanine level. The space The dairy is open-plan modern living with a kitchen area, lounge/dining area and shower room on the ground floor with a bedroom on a mezzanine level. There is superfast fibre broadband and the dairy is situated in 5 acres of garden, fields and orchard. This peaceful retreat is a sanctuary for wildlife including deer and many varieties of birds. Less than 7 miles from the Ashdown Forest and 2 minutes walk from the Vanguard Way, there are many footpaths and bridleways that lead onto the Ashdown Forest or South Downs Way. After a day of exploring come back for a pint, a glass of wine or a meal at the Hurstwood pub or cook in the brand-new kitchen. Guest access There are numerous footpaths close to the door, with the Vanguard Way running through the village, linking with the South Downs Way and Weald Way. Guests are welcome to roam around the grounds of the homestead, totaling 5 acres including a lake and a stream. There is ample parking onsite. Other things to note We also have a barn that sleeps up to 5 on site who wish to rent both properties on Air BnB. There is limited mobile phone coverage although it is possible to make calls using WiFi calling on most phones and network providers. There is restricted headroom in parts of the bedroom due to a sloping ceiling.
