Description
Built in 1907, this is a small, two-story, wooden, hipped-roof, tiled-roof, two-and-a-half-bay, four-bay Kyomachi-style house. It has been renovated as a guest house, but the townhouse prototype has been relatively preserved. The first floor exterior has a wooden glass sliding door, a steel plate wainscoting next to the door, and a flat lattice and a sliding door opening, and the second floor exterior has two aluminum sash openings and a wooden sliding door. The outer walls are plastered, and the second floor beams are joined in the middle, so it can be assumed from the 1951 map that there was originally a longhouse building with the same building on the west side. A small wooden two-story gabled flat tile roofed Kyomachiya built in 1907, with a 2.5-meter frontage and a 4-meter depth. Relax and unwind in a peaceful place to stay. The space All 4 rooms have been renovated with Ryukyu tatami mats. Wireless WiFi is available from any room. The computer has recommended spots within walking distance. It also has a projector and can be used for small meetings. Kitchen, bath, washing machine are available, and consecutive nights are possible. I have included a floor plan in the photos. The first floor plan is a one-row, two-room townhouse with a street garden on the west side, with the front and back rooms lined up from the north. The front garden has an entrance dirt floor, kitchens are lined up from the north, and a washroom and bathroom have been added at the end. The front room is about 3 tatami mats, the ceiling is a Yamato ceiling, the walls are plastered, and it has been renovated with Ryukyu tatami mats. The north side facing the road has a floor-to-ceiling window with a flat lattice, and the east side of the tree has stairs and a sliding door, as well as a new Maifan door. The back room is 6 tatami, and the ceiling has exposed beams from the second floor. Since there are traces of the eaves, it is estimated that it was originally a eaves ceiling with a height of about 2,080 mm. The walls are plastered with large pillars that are not visible, and have been renovated with Ryukyu tatami mats. The south side has been completely renovated, with louvered windows and shoji screens. The floor from the entrance of the front garden to the washroom is covered with wooden panels. The upper part of the kitchen is a fire bag, and there is a skylight. The kitchen is now equipped with a system kitchen and has been renovated in a modern style. It is estimated that the washroom and dressing room were originally kitchens. It is raised above the floor and leads to a bathroom that extends into the garden. The second floor layout is about 3 tatami mats in the front room, and the ceiling has been removed to expose the main house structure. The walls are plastered and renovated with Ryukyu tatami mats. There is a hip window on the north side facing the road, and an entrance to the nado on the west side. On the east side, there are stairs with wooden handrails. The tatami mat room is 6 tatami mats and has a hammock in the southeast corner. The ceiling has been removed and the main house structure is exposed, but there are traces of the eaves, which seems to have originally been an eaves ceiling with a height of about 2,130 mm. The wall was renovated with a shikyaku wall with a raised tatami room floor, and Ryukyu tatami. The west side facing the fire pit is a full wall, and the south side facing the garden has a waist window and a veranda where you can dry your laundry. Pets up to 5 kg are allowed to stay with you. There are bedding and floor decorations on the second floor, so pets are only allowed on the first floor. Guest access The entire facility is reserved for you. Only the fire bags on the second floor are stored as equipment, and access is restricted. Other things to note We have one security camera facing the entrance outside the facility and one facing the road in front of the facility. They are always on during your stay. Parking costs 1,500 yen or more per day. In addition, there are few vacancies. How to get to the facility. Please exit to the ground from Exit 3 of Gojo Station on the Karasuma Line of the Kyoto Municipal Subway. Go straight and turn right at the corner of the 7-Eleven. Turn left at the corner of the Paraca parking lot on the left. Go straight for about 10 meters and you will see it on your right. There is a key box on the lamp next to the entrance.
