Self contained one bed cottage

Welcome to our little cottage! Perfect for a peaceful break away. The space is cosy and ideal for a base if you want to explore the local area. The lounge and kitchen are a combined area with a separate bedroom and shower room. The Bees' Knees pub is close by and excellent for a meal out! You can also find another super pub called The Ferry Boat a mile away. There is a small patio area outside the bedroom door with a patio set so that you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The space The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and we are sure you will enjoy your stay here. The lounge and kitchen area are a combined space. You will find that there is a dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, oven and double hob. The shower room is modern and has a good sized shower. The mirror above the sink unit has a sensor on the right hand side, hold your hand near to it to switch the mirror light on and off! The double bedroom has a door leading to the patio area. There is a table and chairs outside to allow some outside space for eating and drinking. You will find a clothes horse hanging in the wardrobe, this can be taken outside to dry bath towels on a sunny day. Guest access There is space for one car right outside the door of the cottage. You will also find ample space outside on the road. As the village is quite rural, you will need to travel to a village shop to buy groceries or drive to Retford. Morrisons, Tesco and Asda all deliver to the village. We also have another property listed for rent on this site called Stable Cottage. This is available to rent on Airbnb and both cottages combined will accommodate a total party size of up to 5 guests (plus up to 2 small dogs at Stable Cottage only).
