A nineteenth-century renovated cottage with an enormous established garden a few minutes walk from The Royal Mail, Wickens and the end of the Grampians Peaks Trail. Perfect for those seeking peace and seclusion. Garden and nature lovers. Bordered by an olive grove, Salt Creek and the walking path leading between the town and the Arboretum, this is the ideal location for all your South Grampians and Dunkeld plans. The cottage is at the top corner of a 6000sqm block, that's 1.5 acres. The space The cottage is comprised of two bedrooms, an open plan living, dining kitchen area, bathroom and a sunken walk-in pantry. The back door leads to a huge decked area that overlooks the private garden. From the kitchen sink you'll kangaroos and wallabies grazing and more birdlife than you can imagine. Stargazers can easily observe the Milky Way on clear nights. Binoculars are supplied. Dunkeld can get chilly, but you'll stay warm in the cosy cottage thanks to electric blankets, a wood heater and wall heaters or hot water bottles if you prefer. Guest access You'll have full access to the garden and the cottage. There are a number of small outbuildings that are inaccessible. Other things to note I highly recommend you book your dining plans at the Parker Street Project, Wickens and the Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish well in advance of your arrival. For landscape artists, there is a French box easel on site that can be left out for your use during your stay.
