The property is located in a rural setting, but being 3 miles from I-35 highway it’s easy to get food and other essentials within 5-10 mins. Braum’s is a great local grocer with a location just 6 mins from our place. Braum’s is always stocked with essentials and also serves hot burgers, fries, ice cream, and other delicious food sourced only from Braum’s local farm in southern Oklahoma. Parking is plentiful here on the property, so park anywhere to the side in the gravel lots without blocking the garage. There is no public transportation out here in this rural area, but in Oklahoma City you can easily find street parking and take the public streetcar around the downtown for restaurants and attractions. This is our primary residence so please ask us for anything you need during your stay. You can use the WiFi and are welcome to adjust the thermostat which is located outside your room. We just request that you ask us before adjusting the temperature since we try to save energy here on the farm and often utilize open windows as much as possible. Our Anatolian Shepherd is a livestock guardian dog who is very friendly (please read our many glowing reviews that describe him), but he is also trained for his job of protecting the animals from dogs and other predators. Please do not introduce your pets without our kind assistance and plan to keep your pets on a leash at all times.
