The space The entire home was recently renovated and it has a wonderful history. The original owner built in the early 50's and lived there for 40+ years. They were avid music lovers and hosted many of the great jazz & motown players of the time in their home. Upstairs you will find a beautifully renovated space with, a large chef's kitchen, open floor plan that flows to dining area, large living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We have a large picnic table in the back yard for outdoor dining. We offer 2 full beds and 3 queen beds on the main level. Bedroom 1: Queen Bedroom 2: 2 Fulls Bedroom 3: 2 Queens There is free private parking and can accommodate 2 cars at the top of the tall driveway, as long as the lower unit is vacant. If the lower unit is occupied, there is room for you to park one vehicle in the driveway, but the very top of the driveway will be reserved for the lower unit guest to park. If you are planning a special event, be sure to ask us about adding the event to your reservation. Guest access This listing is for the upper unit of the home. The lower basement level is locked off by an interior door, and may be occupied by another Airbnb guest. If you want the entire home to yourself, please inquire. Keep in mind that you may be able to hear the lower guest and that the lower guest may be able to hear you. The lower guest parks on the street and walks up the driveway. All guests are vetted through Airbnb or other means of background check. Other things to note This home is not handicap accessible. The three bedrooms are on the first level, but there are steps into the house. There are no curtains or blinds on the main living area windows. The house is up high so there is limited view to other houses. All bedrooms have window coverings. Please book for the maximum number of guests that will be in the home. If you want to have your friend over for lunch, add her to the guest count. This home is strictly ----No Smoking---- and if there is evidence of smoking in the house upon check out you will incur a $200 extra cleaning fee. We do not want any smoking of any kind in the home.
