This stylish space features a full kitchen and dining nook. only 5 miles (8 minutes) to adorable downtown Laurel. Heavenly king size bed with luxurious sheets and pillows. Enjoy your evening lounging in one of our Adirondacks by the firepit. Keurig w/pods provided. 50" Smart TV. There is ample parking on the property. You can pull right up to the steps of the cottage. No owner on site. Just reach out if we can help with anything! The Little House was originally built in the 1940s as a summer home for Joe May and Edna of New Orleans. The couple wanted a place of their own in the country when they came to visit Edna's sister Gertrude Geddie and her family in Laurel. The Little House is located across the street from Landrum's Homestead & Village, which is a 30 acre recreation of a late 1800s village—walk across the street and enjoy the afternoon taking a step back in time. (Open Thursday - Saturday from 9-4 PM)
