Escape to High Ridge, a secluded mountain cabin at 3,000 feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains bordering Shenandoah National Park. Relax in the private hot tub, enjoy fast Starlink Wi-Fi, a whole-house backup generator, and a fully equipped kitchen. Surrounded by wildlife and mountain views, it's the perfect getaway for hiking, stargazing, and unwinding. Pets welcome! 4WD/AWD required November–March. We've recently worked on filling out the beautiful outdoor area beside the cabin with a large campfire pit, firewood (stacked and ready for you, look at pics) and hot tub. This yard area has beautiful views of nature. It is secluded on all sides and very quiet. This cabin is located "up Tanner's Ridge" as the locals say. In the pictures, you'll see two pictures showing the beautiful overlooks and mountains that you see as you drive to and from the cabin. You'll want to stop and get your own pictures on the drive. Some notes about High Ridge: Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, please feel free to ask! Pets are welcome! Maximum of 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee per dog - No cats allowed, sorry! Driving Information: High Ridge is located "up Tanner's Ridge" in the Skyline Lakes subdivision. The drive follows a scenic gravel mountain road with winding curves, elevation changes, and beautiful overlooks that many guests enjoy stopping to photograph. During the spring, summer, and fall, most standard vehicles—including sedans and compact cars—can access the cabin without issue in normal weather conditions. However, because this is a mountain road, guests with very low-clearance vehicles or those uncomfortable driving on gravel roads may prefer bringing an SUV or AWD vehicle. Guest access The entire property is yours except for a locked shed. Lots of acreage for hiking and exploration!
