Ideally located equidistant from all major Breton cities, the BRB welcomes you all year round. Enjoy a 450 m² building with bedrooms, reception room, bar, sound system, terrace to meet or party. Ideal accommodation for a vacation, birthday party, bachelor party, family reunion, wedding, or corporate event. HISTORY The BRB is located in the former farm of the Bon Repos Abbey. Founded in 1184, the current buildings date from the late 17th - early 18th century. The accommodation dates back to around 1740. Abandoned during the revolution, the abbey fell into disrepair and only the farm remained occupied. Now the abbey is a museum and the setting for the greatest sound and light show in the West. THE BATHROOM We provide you with a reception room of 70m² equipped with sound system and lights. Heat with the pellet stove and make a fireplace for conviviality. Screen and video projector installed. THE KITCHEN The adjoining kitchen is equipped for cooking on site or preparing catering dishes with a cold room to store your food, a gas stove, a frying pan and a professional sink. THE BAR The adjoining Irish-style bar is private for special occasions. It is conducive to the conviviality and good atmosphere of your event. Independent (or linkable) sound system in the room. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Upstairs, you have all the beds in free management: 24 beds divided into 8 bedrooms of 2 to 6 people refurbished with each its private bathroom. The beds are made. We can offer a cottage in the immediate vicinity (walking distance) of 8-9 beds and another of 11 people. We can offer you other cottages, within a radius of 2 km, for a total of 70 beds with additional camping possibilities. Contact us. OUTSIDE SPACE The garden and terrace are open to the Bon Repos Abbey estate. Few visitors on Saturday, none in the evening. It's like the site was for you. Equipped terrace, gas barbecue (wood possible upon request). Parking lot next to the pétanque court. PARKING On-site parking outside the courtyard, and additional parking adjacent. WiFi Wifi in the whole building; HOURS No neighbors around so no time limits for the end of the evening. CHECK-IN TIME We strive to make the accommodation available as soon as possible, and no later than 4 p.m. In general, we expect that you can use the rooms on the ground floor by the beginning of the afternoon at the latest, and the bedrooms by 5 p.m. DEPARTURE TIME We ask that you vacate the rooms by 10 a.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. on Sundays. The bar must be tidy and clean by 10 a.m. on Sunday morning (public opening). The reception room and kitchens will be vacated in the afternoon, by 6 p.m.: enjoy your guests to eat the leftovers. If babies need to sleep in the afternoon, please consult us for room numbers. PETS Pets are allowed for free provided: - that they are clean, - that they don't damage the space, - not to let them climb on beds or sofas, - to pick up their excrement. Dangerous animals are prohibited. The property is located on a pedestrian estate, in the heart of the beautiful Blavet Valley, which is crossed by the Nantes-Brest Canal. Guest access ARRIVING ON SITE The entrance is on foot, on the left after the porch. Access to the rooms is independent, no need to go to the owner's house. It is free at any time. Each bedroom has its own private access from the main hallway. CAR ACCESS Access to the abbey is easy from the 2x2 lanes N164 Rennes<>Châteaulin, exit at the D95 "St Gelven". In the roundabout (1st or 2nd depending on whether you come from Rostrenen or Mur de B.) exit towards "Gouarec/Abbaye de Bon Repos". After 2.5km, at the bottom of the descent, turn left on the D44 direction "Perret/Abbaye de bon Repos". After 200 m, turn left into the tree-lined driveway to the porch. Park on the left before the porch.
