The space The Sonnengleis was built around 1890 as a station building for the railway line. The Bahnhofgasse in Lutzmannsburg still reminds us of the railway line that was there at the time. In the period between 1913 and 1933, Lutzmannsburg was also connected by the route from Oberloisdorf to Bük, a branch line of the Burgenland Railway. The border station was used for passenger and freight traffic for a long time. After the tracks were abandoned, the station building was preserved and later converted into a residential building. The historical appearance, as well as the original elements in the interior, are reminiscent of the former train station. Due to the south-facing orientation of the garden, our Sonnengleis not only combines the direct connection to forest, wine and water, but also offers plenty of sunshine with light-flooded rooms. Our Sonnengleis is a highlight for peace and relaxation in the countryside. Other things to note Carriage house – summer kitchen Use of the summer kitchen (shed) is regulated according to the season. It is available to our guests exclusively from May 1 to September 30. There is a winter closure from October 1 to April 30; during this period, the summer kitchen (shed) is closed and cannot be used.
