The Loft at Hickory Haven is a modern country retreat made for two! Mary & Bob constructed The Loft studio in 2020 and filled it with the modern traveler's amenity wish list: A comfy king bed, central AC, a gas-fired stove, a modern bathroom, and a kitchenette with dining area. The property's rural setting offers a peaceful haven from your daily grind. Your day will start with the chirping of birds or a wild turkey sighting and end with a star-filled sky that is a site to behold! Welcome! The space The Loft at Hickory Haven is situated on 11 acres of a former farm in the Kettle Moraine region of south eastern Wisconsin. You are invited to walk the property to explore the 200 year old oak trees and investigate the field stone fences created by the early settlers to the area. The farm's concrete silo still stands in the backyard and an original farm structure still stands on a field stone foundation. We encourage you to collect hickory nuts from our trees and sample the black berries when in season. Guest access - The Loft will be your private, personal retreat during your stay at Hickory Haven. - The Loft Studio is located above the garage & is separated from the farmhouse by a locking pocket door. - Mary & Bob make it a point to greet you upon arrival. If that is not possible, they will communicate how to access The Loft on your own.
