Tranquility in the City
The main room is fairly tranquil and simple. The rest of the house is quiet as well. We moved to this awesome neighborhood that we love it already. The rooms comes with fresh linens and a bathroom that is in the hall but you are the only one using it. (People frequently ask where we bought the bed, saying they want to get one too) We are close (less than 5 minutes each) to The interstate (195, 95, and 64), VCU Children’s Hospital, Richmond Raceway, and soooo much more. We have a great home! The tranquil room is yours with a desk, closet, and TV with access to the kitchen and yard. If you want (there’s a hammock, fire pit, and slide). We will provide coffee (Kuerig with k-cups), space in the kitchen in the cabinet, fridge, & freezer. You are welcome to make yourself at home in the rest of the house just please don’t judge us off of it as we are always working on making the home better and do have two kids every other weekend. We do have a small dog who is friendly and will likely greet you at the door. If you’re staying longer than 4 days you are free to use the water and dryer but we need advanced notice so we can make sure it’s cleared for you. Forgot your cellphone charger? Don’t worry, there is an apple and android charging cord in your bedroom.. We have the following areas that you are welcome to use: Kitchen Backyard with hammock, grill, slide, chiminea, and fire pit Wash & Dryer (with a 4 day or longer stay)- please give us advanced notice so we can make sure it’s clear Justin and I are available by text, call, email, or if we are home just ask. We can interact or not, really just up to you. We are usually home in the evenings. We love our neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. We have a small coffee shop down the street, a few restaurants / bars, and several parks. There’s a bus stop down the street, never used it but plenty of people do. The rent-a-scooter or bike stations are nearby. We mainly drive or use Lyft/Uber. Most stuff is really close by. We do have off street parking but you have to drive through the alley, which is kinda yucky (if you ask me) and we don’t even park back there ourselves . We recommend parking in front of the house. However, if you want to park there we can show you the spots, have enough room for a larger camper or 4 cars. We do have 2 teenage kids every other weekend. But we are all out and about so much, you will barely notice them if you happen to be here at the same time.
