White Brick Studio is a small studio apartment inside of a larger home. Walk times: High St. dining and nightlife < 10 minutes OSU Wexner Medical < 15 minutes Ohio Stadium < 20 minutes Convention Center < 25 minutes The space This is a recently updated studio apartment (no door between the kitchen and bedroom) on the first floor of a vintage building on a quiet street, right between OSU and the popular Short North Arts District - walk to campus, shops, night life, and restaurants! ***** Noise: This is a studio apartment inside of an early 1900s house. It is NOT soundproofed like modern apartments. We love quiet guests! If you are coming to Columbus to stay up late and party, please do not stay here. If you hear excessive noise in the building after 9pm, please let us know and we will address it. Guests in violation of this policy will be asked to leave. ***** The bedroom has a queen foam mattress and can sleep two guests. There is a small seating area for two, a desk, and a TV on a rotating wall mount. The kitchen features basic appliances and cookware - pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, toaster, and coffee maker. Coffee and filters are provided. ***** Street parking is available for $3/night. ***** TV: There is a TV in the unit with a built-in Roku technology for signing into your own Netflix account and few local TV channels are available through a digital tuner (no cable). ***** Guest access You'll enter Other things to note Street parking is available for $3/night. For guests staying 7 nights or more, laundry will be available in the basement, between 9am and 9pm, any day except Sunday. ***Special note about air quality*** Two cats live in the other part of this building. They never go inside the studio (and please don't let them). They are friendly and you may see them outside in the yard. We have been hosting for a while, and we've found that about 1 in every 100 guests have noticed a cat smell inside the studio. Most people (including us) can't smell anything - but - if you are very sensitive to smells and/or you have cat allergies, we do NOT recommend booking our place. If you choose to book and then decide not to stay, we will offer you a refund for your unused nights that we can get rebooked to other guests. We do provide a Levoit air purifier in the bedroom to help keep the air as clean as possible! The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only.
