Studio "Glärnisch" with kitchenette

The studio "Glärnisch" is located in the listed Oberhaus on Lake Zurich. The stately winegrower's house from 1743 has been home to a B&B since 2021. The studio is located in the southeast of the house and comprises two rooms and a bathroom with shower/toilet. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Breakfast and sauna can be booked at the same time. Use of the private lake access is included. Parking is available. The train station is 5 minutes from the property. The space The studio is located on the southeast side of the historic Oberhaus overlooking the garden and Lake Zurich. It comprises two rooms on two floors (mezzanine and 2nd floor), which are directly connected by a winding oven staircase. However, both rooms are also directly accessible from the hallway. A bathroom with shower/toilet completes the studio. In the lower room there is a fully equipped kitchenette, two single beds as well as a sitting area and a table with chairs. This room is furnished with antique furniture from the upper house. In the upper room there is a double bed made of solid oak with separate slatted frames and mattresses and double bedding and a seating area with upholstered furniture also made of oak. The studio is suitable for a maximum of four adults. The bathroom with shower/toilet was newly built in 2021. Bed linen and bath linen are provided, as well as sauna linen. Breakfast can be booked at the same time. It is served in the garden seating area in summer and in the former wash house in winter. In the winter half-year, a sauna is also offered and in the summer half-year, a rowboat is offered. Guests are also allowed to use the private lake access. You can still take a bath there in the evening. Access is not suitable for non-swimmers or children and adults who are not yet able to swim safely. For such, the public bathing facility in Feldbach is recommended, which is a 10-minute walk away. A parking space is available in the yard. In addition to their private rooms, guests have a number of accommodation options, such as the south-facing loggia balcony on the first floor of the upper house or the gravel area in front of the wash house, each with fantastic views. Guest access The studio belongs to the B&B Oberhaushof, which is housed in the lower two floors of the upper house. The bed and breakfast can be reached via the garden and an external staircase. The hosts live on the farm themselves, but only the guests of the bed & breakfast stay in the upper house. During your stay We are happy to hand over the studio personally if possible and are also available to answer any questions. Other things to note The studio is equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette with hotplates, hot air oven/microwave, small dishwasher, refrigerator and Beanarella capsule machine (with compostable capsules) and a kettle. We are happy to offer you a breakfast from the buffet in the beautiful breakfast room in the garden of the B&B Oberhaushof. This costs CHF 16.00 per person. Children under 12 years of age pay half price. We offer this from 8 am to 10 am - other times on request. If you are interested, just approach the hosts! In winter, breakfast is offered in the laundry. The studio in the listed upper house is suitable for adults and families with children ages 8 and up. Since 2023, we have been offering a publicly accessible charging station for electric vehicles at the Oberhaushof. Meals: The Badi Feldbach (which also rents pedalos) with bistro is a 10-minute walk away and very nicely located. The address for foodies and bikers: hearty food and a cool beer can be found in the Hans-Heiri, the pub in the parent company of the Zurich brewery Hürlimann.
