Cozy Cabin-style Bunkhouse on Prairie Farm Oasis

RELAX and ENJOY the beautiful surroundings on this nature-filled organic vegetable farm. Cozy, cabin-style bunkhouse situated on a serene lake, with clean compostable outhouse and outdoor shower (for use in warmer months), paths and forest groves, and a saskatoon berry orchard to enjoy in summer. Peaceful. Fully furnished. Tap water inside. Electricity. Wifi. The town of Camrose (10 minute drive away) is fully serviced and brimming with amenities. 45 minute drive to the city of Edmonton. The space Cabin has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests, with a comfortable queen bed and two foam loft mattresses to accommodate sleeping bags (please bring your own sleeping bag/pillow for loft beds). Cabin features comfortable seating, soft lighting, electric fireplace, wifi, dining nook, kitchenette, outdoor shower (for use in warmer months), and beautiful front porch views looking out towards the lake and tree-lined garden. Clean compostable toilet outhouse is just a few steps from the cabin. Running cold water tap inside the cabin at kitchen sink (with electric kettle for hot water). Cooking can be done at counter-top oven/broiler, microwave, and cooktop burner. Equipment, dishes, and supplies are provided for you. The town of Camrose, (located 10 minute drive away), is fully serviced and brimming with amenities— lovely parks with beautiful walking trails (cross-country skiing in the winter), shopping + grocery stores, library, movie theatre, restaurants, local coffee shops, swimming pool/rec centre (skating rink), boutique shopping, and UofA Augustana campus. The city of Edmonton is a 45 minute drive from the farm, with even more amenities, arts, festivals, entertainment, shopping, and food experiences to take in. Guest access Guests will have access to surrounding farm land, which is great for nature walks and snowshoeing (in the winter months). Guests are welcome to explore but are requested to respect the privacy of the residents in the main house. Canoe or kayak (and life jackets) are available for use in summer months upon request. Other things to note Toilet is a clean, compostable outhouse just steps from the cabin. Cold running water tap inside the cabin (water can be heated with electric kettle next to the sink). Outdoor shower not available for use during cooler months. Bring your own sleeping bag/pillow for loft beds. We recommend bringing slippers or warm socks for stays during cooler months keeping your feet warm against the cabin floor.
