My Airbnb is perfect for the South Bank, 02 Arena, West End theatre visits, weekday work stays and much, much more. The SE1 location is an urban dream with fast transport links to the City, Canary Wharf, and the West End. The buzz of Bermondsey Street's food, art and social scene is a short walk away, with iconic Tower Bridge and the River Thames just beyond. Borough Market is a foodie heaven within easy walking reach. I look forward to welcoming you to this incredible capital city. The space Bermondsey is one of London's most vibrant areas and through its gradual regeneration has kept its earthy warehouse and riverside roots. Your double room is airy and inviting. It has good storage space with a floor to ceiling sliding door wardrobe, and your ensuite bathroom is sunny and modern. All the toiletries in the bathroom are for your use. Also in your room is a hairdryer, tea and coffee with plenty of biscuits. Please remember to take off your outdoor shoes before going into the bedroom. You can leave them under the low bookcase outside your bedroom door. Guest access Your space is your bedroom and ensuite bathroom. I live in the flat too but will give you plenty of space. You will have your own set of keys to come and go as you please. Because of the open plan layout of my home the kitchen is not for guest use. Nestled behind Artesian House is Spa Gardens, a small and gently landscaped green space. This is a lovely, friendly haven if you fancy a quiet day outside but close to home. Sit on the grass or a bench, run on the track, use the communal outside gym equipment, or just watch the people and the sky. During your stay Your ensuite bedroom is in my home. I will be here to welcome you and give you advice on the locality, and I will also respect your privacy. I primarily work from home so am around a lot of the time. This area is an amazing mix of bustle and peace. Feel free to ask me any questions during your stay, or prior to your arrival. Covid Cleanliness I am extremely house-proud and reassure you that everything in your room and ensuite will be cleaned to a high standard. I follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room I provide cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay Other things to note The flat and entire building is a non-smoking environment. We like animals but absolutely no pets are allowed. The flat is in an inner city pocket so the surrounding streets are lively during the day. However this changes in the evening when the traffic disappears and the roads are peaceful and surprisingly quiet. Arrival & departure Arrival: after 5.00pm however I will be as flexible as my schedule allows. Departure: by 11.00am. Whenever possible I will try and fit in with your travel plans.
