Although the Dog Pound can accommodate 6 guests, our rates are based on 2 people. There is an additional charge of $20 per guest, per night for each guest over two. The space For an additional $50 per night you can wake up to our coffee bar followed by a three course breakfast for two. Enjoy private, patio or in the Big House dining. The Dog Pound is a 900 square foot studio apartment (living area shares king bed) with an added private bedroom (queen bed). Fully furnished and can accommodate four people with a full galley kitchen, dining nook, one king size bed, one queen size bed, sleeper sofa, electric fireplace, two flat screen TVs, one bath, walk in closet and washer/dryer. Free wireless internet, satellite TV and Netflix. Private entrance, garage parking, waterfalls, pool with spa, hot tub, fire pits, gazebo with rotating flat screen TV (for pool and spa viewing), BBQ and featuring the Shaggy Dog Saloon patio bar with pool table. Our newest amenity and guest space is The Dog Dish Grotto. The Dog Dish is our new beautiful hot tub nestled in our aromatic desert garden. It has many wonderful and soothing features but its Clear Ray water purification system stands out above and beyond. Our hot tub water is virtually gas free, chemical free or any other by-product free. We just fill it with the dog dish water. JUST KIDDING. We have had fun designing our grotto, Its secluded just enough to privately relax, revive and rejuvenate. We are excited to share the Dog Dish experience and hope all our guests get a chance to enjoy soaking and sipping surrounded by a mature collection of desert plants while taking in the beauty of our Arizona sky. With easy access to all highways, this is a diamond in the rough nestled between the Loop 101, SR51 and I17. Thirty minutes from Sky Harbor Airport and downtown Phoenix. We are close to shopping, with easy access to all sporting events. We recommend renting a car as public transportation is available but not so handy. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Guest access Our guests have access to our fully landscaped acre plus property which includes cactus gardens, beautiful lawn, pool and hot tub area, gazebo area with Amazon Fire Stick, patio area, pool table and The Shaggy Dog Patio Bar. Count on being escorted by our three Westies. Other things to note We have two rentals on the same property. This 900 sq ft casita and a 25 ft RV. You might have to coordinate your hot tub time with the other guests. Happy hour (bring your own) at the Shaggy Dog Patio Bar is always fun when all our guests mingle.
