Bairro Alto/Chiado Neighborhood.

Thank you for understanding :) My place is a recently updated old apartment located on the border of the Bairro Alto and Chiado neighborhoods, with a nice balcony view over the busy Bairro streets. It is at walking distance from many essential spots to visit in the area. The space This apartment was completely renovated between summer 2021 and winter 2022 and while small sized (typical in this neighborhood), it is very cosy and functional and has an ample and well lit living room and a nice and comfortable bedroom, featuring a king size bed with a high quality mattress. There's also a queen-sized sofa-bed in the living room so it can accommodate 2 adults with children comfortably. All main windows are double-glass and have wooden shutters for your privacy. The Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the Bathroom is very generous: has both a shower and a bathtub. All areas get some of the natural light and there's a big wardrobe in the hallway for longer stays. Guest access The building has no elevator, so there's some stairs to be climbed. It is an old pre-earthquake building with renovated interior (only the facade is original), as Bairro Alto recently completed 508 years. Other things to note Bairro Alto is a fun and busy neighbourhood, mostly at night, with restaurants, bars, fado joints, nightclubs, tapas (petiscos) houses, wine boutiques, clothing stores, vinyl shops, designer studios, designer stores, etc. The apartment's street also happens to be one of the least noisier ones, but still it is to be expected some street noise into the evening, especially during weekend nights.
