From the Berry Patch Cottage, it's a quiet one-mile walk to downtown Point Reyes Station. We're less than half a mile from National Seashore land at the foot of Tomales Bay. Enjoy your own tucked-away cottage, with apple trees, berries, & vegetable garden. With a mix of meadow and trees and nearby fresh water, we see an extensive variety of birds ad other wildlife. NOTE: Pets & children are welcome; ask about (low) pet fees. The Cottage has picturesque country views ~ Front and (fenced) back decks. Is fully equipped kitchen with oak dining table, and fruit bowl, homemade berry jam, condiments, coffees and teas. Bedroom with comfortable queen bed and attractive propane "wood-stove". Having lived in west Marin for 41 years, I'm very familiar with all the area has to offer. I'm nearly always on-site and available. Although we're only a mile from downtown Point Reyes Station, the cottage, located at the back of my property, is quiet and peaceful. There are beautiful views on the walk to town. Birds and other wildlife are everywhere. The "Stage" is a small bus with bicycle rack. Its schedule is variable; best to look up. It coordinates with main Marin Transit and the Golden Gate ferry. The Cottage offers a real getaway, with a knowledgeable and helpful hostess.
