Joan's House in Tarskavaig has superb sea views towards the Cuillin of Rum in the distance, it is the ideal cottage to relax and watch the world go by! Tarskavaig is on the Sleat peninsula in the South of Skye. Within a 15 min drive you have Armadale Castle and Grounds, Toravaig Distillery and the ferry to Mallaig as well as lovely walks in the area. An open plan kitchen / lounge / diner with three double bedrooms makes an excellent family holiday home. The space The cottage is entered via the side door which takes you into the utility room. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and coat hooks for damp jackets. Just off the utility room is a downstairs wet room with shower, W.C. and wash hand basin. The open kitchen / dining / lounge spans the full width of the holiday home. Facing the sea and Rum, each area enjoys sea views. The kitchen is spacious with electric hob, double electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The dining table can seat six people comfortably and enjoys amazing views via the patio doors. There is a corner sofa and two tub chairs for people to recline upon. There is a log burner, TV and DVD player. A selection of board games can be found in the hallway. The downstairs double bedroom has a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. Situated at the rear of the house, it has views over the woods behind. Upstairs, there are a further two double bedrooms. Each has sea views towards Rum, a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and wardrobes. The family bathroom has a walk in shower, bath, W.C. and wash hand basin. On the landing there is additional seating for two. The garden enjoys the same views and is a wonderful place to spend some time on a sunny day. There is a large boulder that creates a table top outside! The house is accessed via a gravel track that leads you through the croft and there is a cattle grid as you drive into the enclosed garden.
