The space Water’s Edge Cottage is a newly remodeled farmhouse-style retreat designed with families in mind. The home features warm, inviting interiors, comfortable furnishings, and an open living space perfect for spending time together. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare family meals, and the dining area is ideal for gathering, games, or conversation. The cottage includes cozy bedrooms with quality linens, a spacious living room, and plenty of natural light throughout. For entertainment, guests can enjoy Wi-Fi, a smart TV, board games, and kid-friendly touches to help everyone feel at home. Step outside to enjoy one of the property’s best features—its peaceful waterfront setting. Families can relax on the outdoor seating area, cook meals on the grill, gather around the fire pit in the evenings, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. There’s plenty of open space for kids to explore and play safely. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and its surrounding outdoor spaces. This includes the main living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and designated outdoor seating areas. You’ll also be able to enjoy the property’s natural setting near the water. Parking is available on-site for your convenience. Please note: certain areas (such as storage spaces or maintenance buildings) may be restricted for safety and privacy. Other things to note Water’s Edge Cottage is a wonderful place for families to gather, explore, and make lasting memories. We welcome day visitors so you can share your stay with loved ones; however, all visitors must be approved in advance, sign a liability waiver, and pay a $25 per person fee upon arrival. For your peace of mind, the property is accessed through a private security gate for registered guests only. This helps us maintain a safe, quiet, and family-friendly environment. There’s plenty to enjoy right on the property! Families love spending time at our spring-fed, stocked pond and exploring the two miles of scenic hiking trails. Kids and adults alike can enjoy: * Fishing: $10 per person (ages 10 and up), $5 for children under 10 (Fishing fees cover your entire stay) * Paddle boat and row boat rentals: $10 per day The pond is stocked and cared for regularly with catfish, Florida largemouth bass, crappie, and bluegill, making it a fun and easy fishing experience for all ages. For safety, all pond activities require a signed liability waiver, and we ask that children are supervised at all times near the water.
