The space We have a waterfront home, located in beautiful countryside of the Huon, a short drive to the quaint country town of Cygnet. Our home has a separate guest suite and you have exclusive use of the front door and a door into your guest area. It is a similar space to that of an apartment. The space has been totally renovated to the highest of standards. Tasmanian Oak floorboards, New Zealand pure wool carpets, beautifully appointed ensuite in each room, with Apaiser stone basins. A stunning open plan kitchenette (not full kitchen)and breakfast bar in Dekton stone features a Miele convention/microwave oven, small fridge. Separate washer/dryer. The open plan lounge is beautifully furnished and features a stunning gas fireplace for added ambience. The lounge area opens into a light bright alfresco area. We have created a mediterranean feel with beautiful tiling, dining table, Heston BBQ with overhead exhaust fan and a bar setting. There is a ceiling fan for warmer weather and two overhead heaters and clear drop down blinds to keep you warm in the cooler months. The huge expanse of water is mesmerising with all sorts of wildlife, from Black Swans, Dolfins, Seals and the laughter of Kookaburras (yes in the old gum tree!). Cygnet Sailing Club is downstream and twice a week you can sit and watch the Yacht racing. As an added bonus we have also created your own space outside the alfresco area, plus a fire pit (subject to fire restrictions) and seating on the water's edge. Guest access You have parking, an entire guest suite, lounge/kitchenette, enclosed undercover alfresco area, additional outdoor seating and water's edge seating. The lawns are common with the property- although we give you your privacy during your stay! Other things to note We offer a private guest suite that is the perfect size for two guests, or a couple. I can cater for an infant or a child, or an extra guest/couple in the spare bedroom, on request. There is an additional undercover alfresco BBQ area and outdoor patio. Note this is a suite with a kitchenette only, not full blown kitchen! The lawn area goes direct to the water's edge with fire pit and seating, it is your private area, the lawn is common however we do not access this space when we have guests.
