Sunnsytli - the cozy vacation home in the Emmental

PURE relaxation in a fantastic mountain world! The vacation home "Sunnsytli" is located in the deepest Emmental at around 1000 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Alps in the Bernese Oberland. The vacation home was built around 1880 as a farm and today serves our vacation guests completely for rest, relaxation and deceleration in nature. You can go hiking right outside the front door and enjoy the untouched nature. Also wonderfully suitable for exploring by bike. The space The old wood-burning stove in the kitchen provides cozy warmth in the house for heating yourself. Wood is available on site. In the living room, the old tiled stove with a heated bench is inviting for relaxing, especially on cooler days. The tiled stove warms the other rooms. Two small electric heaters are available for the bedrooms on the upper floor in cold outside temperatures. The bathroom is on the ground floor. From the two bedrooms on the upper floor, a staircase leads down outside. The toilet / bathroom is only accessible by these exterior stairs. For children, is a mini staircase with a hatch in the ground floor bedroom where they can climb up and down. In summer, a large umbrella, sun loungers and a wood barbecue are available. Some toys and games for children are on site. Hiking maps for the area are on site. In Langnau there are many shopping opportunities and smaller shops for groceries, clothes, household items, etc. Nearby cities: Bern (capital of Switzerland), Thun and Interlaken. Guest access Our guests have access to all the rooms in the building. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are only accessible via an external staircase. Other things to note Little cell phone reception and no Wi-Fi. Ideal for switching off and relaxing. A landline phone is available in the house for a fee.
