Double room in warm & friendly Brixton home

This is a family home with a large double room available for guests, located in the same room. 2 live in hosts share the space - living room and kitchen space. Joel and Mary are a middle aged couple residing in their family home. Joel is a former taxi driver and dry cleaner; and a walking encyclopaedia. Mary is a former caterer and child minder; who knows all the bus routes in London. The space Room 1 - The spacious double bedroom benefits from a large king sized bed and large windows, allowing plenty of light into the room. A work table and swivel chair, a wardrobe, a bedside table and a standing fan are also included. The standing fan is the only AC in the room. Access to a guest bathroom which is located next to the room and shared with a second larger room (which is also available to book.) Guests have access to a large shared kitchen area as well as the lounge/dining area. Guest access Parking is free around the property on weekends. The location is great for transportation links - bus, tube and train stations are within a 10 minute walk. Uber can also be a great and low cost way to get around town During your stay We prefer to give guests their space however the live in hosts are very friendly and helpful so happy to chat. I am available via Airbnb chat should you have any questions. I do not live on the property but myself and other family members do visit often. Other things to note Zola is the family cat. She is a gentle, affectionate and shy bengal cross breed. She is very unlikely to enter your room as she usually gives our guests a wide birth, and has her own space. However, guests should be comfortable with a cat that has free rein in the house.
