South facing cosy double bedroom

The space We offer a comfortable bedroom on the first floor with new flat screenTV and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom with shower and the separate toilet are next to the bedroom. Guests are free to share our lounge and chat. In the summer they can use the south facing private terrace with loungers. The bathroom and toilet are on the first floor beside the bedroom and are shared between the two guest bedrooms. Bicycles are available for guests to borrow if they fancy a ride along the seafront. We enjoy a chat with new visitors introducing them to the area. We will provide evening meals if required. We live on the ground floor and are always available for advice. Sketty is a quiet and safe residential area with a small shopping centre containing mini-supermarkets, post office,cafes, pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Singleton Park with its beautiful walled garden is only 6 minutes walk and the University and Swansea Bay are just beyond. We are close to bus stops on Gower Road and it takes about 12 minutes to the city centre. Numbers to look out for are the 20, 21 to Sketty, the 37 which goes from the centre to Mumbles via Sketty and the 118 to Gower and Rhossilli. Taxis from town are reasonable, about £6 during the day and £8 later in the evening. Parking is not restricted and there is usually space, though we have a small run-in if required. Please note that we are on Carnglas Avenue (not Road). This runs parallel to Gower Road. Guest access Guests are welcome to share our lounge and have Wi-Fi in every room. In the summer they are free to enjoy the private south facing terrace and lawn. There are bicycles which they can borrow to ride along the seafront cycle track. During your stay We like to have a friendly chat and give advice about the area if required. We live on the ground floor and are available to provide information. Other things to note Please note our address is Carnglas Avenue not Road which is just around the corner and is one way only. We are parallel to Gower Road. Turn at Glan yr Afan then turn right again.
