Panguitch is nestled between the Markagunt and Paunsaugunt Plateaus and is known for its breathtaking scenery and outdoor recreation. The name Panguitch comes from a Paiute word meaning “Big Fish,” a nod to nearby Panguitch Lake, famous for its excellent fishing and large rainbow trout. Throughout the year, Panguitch hosts vibrant community events including the Annual Quilt Walk Festival in the spring, the Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally in summer, and rodeos, concerts, and competitions at the Canyon Country Complex and Triple C Arena just off Highway 89. July 24th brings one of the town’s biggest celebrations with parades, reunions, and rodeo events. Winter brings its own charm with New Year’s festivities at the Triple C Arena and the Panguitch Lake Big Fish Ice Fishing Derby. We strive to accommodate early check-in or late checkout requests whenever possible. Extended access comes with an additional fee of $50, which assists in covering the expenses related to adjusting our housekeeping schedules for special requests. Our goal is to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Many of our properties are Dog-friendly, and we gladly welcome your furry companions at these designated properties.
