The County Escape- Private Waterfront 3+ Acres

County Escape has incredible water views with large frontage and is situated on the north east side of PEC. 3.5 acres. It has 5 bedrooms. Walk out to large deck with patio furniture and BBQ. Short walk down the hill to a very private dock and waterfront. Multi-Games table in basement for rainy days. Great fishing. Unlimited WiFi. Fire Pit. 15mins to Picton, 30min to Sandbanks and Belleville. The space We have just been added to the Prince Edward County Barn Quilt Trail with our very own Barn Quilt entitled “The County Escape Sunset.” This barn quilt is meant to depict our beautiful sunset views from the house or the dock. Our cottage is also perfect for business travellers, we provide a workspace with a comfy chair, and iron. We have a ring doorbell camera at the front door. Air Conditioning and Heat. Sheets and bedding for all five beds. Bath towels for all guests. No beach towels please bring your own. Great for families, multiple friends and couples. Spacious 5 bedroom home with 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 rooms in the basement for sleeping. (two basement rooms do not have windows) Two fridges one in kitchen with freezer and an additional full fridge in the breezeway. 2 bathrooms. Both bathrooms are newly renovated. No laundry facilities. The property is large, with plenty of space to explore. To get to the waterfront you will need to walk down the hill. It is a bit steep. Water shoes are recommended for swimming. Fire pit overlooking the water. Amazing views from anywhere in the back yard. Fully equipped kitchen- three coffee makers (Nespresso, Keurig and drip) kettle, blender and even a crockpot. Only registered guest can stay or even visit the cottage. Small beach is rocky. Water shoes are recommended. 2 kayaks for use. Life jackets provided. BBQ with propane provided. Guest access All spaces except for the garage, shed, furnace room, and two locked rooms in basement. No washer and dryer. Annual Day pass (May-Nov) to Sandbanks Provincial park and other Provincial parks may be used during your stay. (Savings of approx. $20 regular day admission). If not returned will be a $300 fine taken from deposit. Other things to note The property uses a septic tank so only flush toilet paper down the toilet. There is a binder in the kitchen with other important information about the cottage. Check in is 4:00pm or later. Check out is 11:00am or earlier. We provide dish soap, one bar of soap per shower, bathroom liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. If bringing your own soap, shampoo etc please try to bring ones that are phosphate free(septic tank friendly) Coffee filters for the week or number of days you are staying and enough coffee for your first pot. Coffee pot uses basket shaped filters. We also have Keurig and a Nespresso machine if you would like to bring your own coffee pods. Fire pit with chairs. You are required to phone the PEC Burn permit line everyday that you use the fire pit. More information is in the welcome binder found in the kitchen. There is a ring door bell camera at the front door. No parties. No noise between 10:00pm-7:00am. No fire works. Please remember to conserve water as the cottage gets its water from a well. During the summer months the water supply is limited. DO NOT USE WATER TO FILL A KIDS SWIMMING POOL OR ANYTHING SIMILAR. We have a maximum of 10 guests which includes all children and infants. We charge an additional $50 night each for 6 or more guests. (Including children 2 and above) Please do not book if your total number of guests will be above 10 people. We cannot accommodate more than 10 people. Please try to keep your garbage and recycling to a minimum. Only one bag of garbage can be left, if you have more than one bag of garbage take it with you or there will be a $65 charge from the security deposit.
