Le Pinada, between Saint-Émilion and Bergerac

In the heart of the Purple Perigord, an isolated, calm and hilly site, ideal for nature lovers. The very comfortable gîte (3-star tourist furnished), facing south with a shaded terrace, a 1000 m2 fenced garden and a secure swimming pool, fully independent, is perfect for holidays with family or friends, or for business stays. Our animal friends are welcome under certain conditions. The space - The bedrooms: two bedrooms located to the north overlook the countryside and are conducive to rest thanks to their calm and freshness in summer. Both are equipped with 140 cm beds, with optional mattress protectors, duvets, blankets and sheets. The layout allows for functional storage. A third bedroom, located to the south, is equipped with two bunk beds. Two baby cots are available as well as a high chair, baby bath and changing pad. All three bedrooms also have shutters and double curtains for complete rest. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets. - The bathroom: very functional and bright, is equipped with two sinks with two mirrors, a bathtub and storage shelves with optional towels. - The living room: facing south and overlooking the terrace, is equipped with an insert (wood provided), a TV with DVD player and a stereo system, adjoining the kitchen which is very functional and fully equipped. - The garden: sunbathing is at your disposal, children will find their happiness thanks to the hut and the play structure and for all, an outdoor wooden shelter with ping pong table. Direct access to the pool, secured by a fence and shared with the owners. Private parking is reserved for you near the garden as well as an access path to the private gîte. Activities and services Many marked trails close to the gîte will allow you to hike or bike in any season in the Montaigne region. We also offer, depending on the season, to discover medicinal plants on site and in the middle of nature, by reservation. In summer, you can go canoeing on the Dordogne (4 km away), swim in Lake Gurson (6 km away) with its equipped beach and many children's games. You can also discover our rich local heritage: - gastronomy: many regional dishes and products that you can enjoy at the farmers' markets very close to the gîte, and we also offer breakfasts and/or discovery baskets from local organic producers (by reservation; excluding July/August). - wines: mythical crus such as Saint Emilion, Pomerol, Bergerac, Monbazillac and small local producers - and beers because the Pinada is also the micro-brewery La Pinada: manufacture and sale of craft beers on site with possible visit by appointment. - prestigious sites: * nearby: Gallo-Roman villa of Montcaret, Michel de Montaigne castle, medieval village of Saint Emilion * a little further away: Bergerac, Duras, medieval bastides (Issigeac, Monpazier, Eymet...), many castles and caves of the Dordogne... Not to mention our regional capital, Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
