Garden Walk District Victorian

Our 1890s Victorian is located in the heart of the Garden Walk district on a quiet one-way street. It’s a welcoming and walkable neighborhood near shopping, restaurants, colleges, the medical campus, and entertainment venues. In 2016 we completely rebuilt the second floor of the house to create a new space that includes a private guest bedroom/bathroom/hallway for YOU as well as a main retreat for US! The space We’ve been slowly renovating our home since 2001, but in 2016 decided it was time to speed the process. We gutted the second-floor space to the exterior walls, had an architect help with the design, hired a wonderful contractor—and created a brand-new space with all new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to bring the entire house into the 21st century. Located on a separate hallway, the new guest bedroom and private bathroom are ideal for guests such as you. Gardens front and back enhance our home, and you are welcome to relax on our two-tiered deck, graced with a large grape arbor, comfortable chairs, and swing when the weather is appropriate. Guest access Your bedroom has a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, room air-conditioner unit, dresser, large closet, and a Smart TV with several streaming services. The private bathroom is adjacent and has a refurbished claw foot tub original to the house for a relaxing bath or refreshing shower, as well as a new vanity and toilet. You will have exclusive access to the front parlor for relaxing, reading, or working at the secretary desk. A light breakfast (coffee, tea, orange juice, muffins, and fruit) will be provided in the dining room. We welcome you to bring in food but ask that you eat it in the dining room; light use of the kitchen MIGHT be allowed. During your stay We are fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19 and hope that you are also. We will interact with you as much, or little, as you wish. We can provide information about highlights of the Buffalo/Niagara region, as well as directions. We love our city and love to share.
