Cozy, private 2 BR/2 Bath brick rancher tucked away in peaceful setting just minutes from Downtown Boone & Appalachian State University. Conveniently located just a short distance to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. NOTE: Please check the local weather forecast leading up to your stay. Enjoy the entire house donned with shabby chic living areas and cozy sofa; a large porch for taking in the mountain air; two bedrooms with queen size beds and two full baths; a fully stocked kitchen is available for cooking. You'll have access to Wifi, Netflix -- TVs in every room; a separate space for games or lounging in the downstairs den (futon may be used for additional guests); washer/dryer is also available should you need it. Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of the garage and a locked storage room. We will do our best to greet you in person but for the most part, the space will be accessed via instructions from the host. Someone should be available by phone or text for questions. If a problem arises, we will make it a priority to be there in person as soon as possible. The house is situated on a private road in a residential area. There are a few neighbors, but the area is peaceful and quiet. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the porch surrounded by wooded areas and will likely only see furry friends. You're just a few miles from Appalachian State University and downtown Boone where you will find area restaurants, bars, and shopping. Estimates to area ski slopes: Appalachian Ski Mountain Resort - 8 miles/20 mins Sugar Mountain Resort - 15 miles/25 mins Beech Mountain Resort - 20 miles/40 mins For the most part, you'll want a car to get around.
