Complete with a hearty ranch breakfast, friendly dog, cattle, and lots of wildlife and everything else the Country life has to offer. If you want to bring your horse contact me lots of local riding trails. Come enjoy the Peace! Due to stairs ( the guest suite is upstairs) and large animals etc. The Ranch isn't really a suitable for children less then 4 years old. The space Come enjoy this very quite very rural Small (20 Acre) working cattle ranch 1 1/2 miles down a gravel road. Large Country home with covered porches, cozy fires, year round creek, pond , fountains, beautiful settings and lots of hiking/biking/riding trails long or short in the area plus only 10 miles from Grass Valley/Nevada city. Your private area includes: A bedroom with antique full size bed, a private bathroom and private living room. The living room has a day bed, and a futon bed plus comfy couchs. A hearty breakfast will be supplied for all. Horses are welcome in the pasture / riding trails for $15 extra/day and there is plenty of room to park your horse trailer! Come relax, unwind and enjoy the simple, healthy life on the Ranch !! Guest access Most of the home, the property and the surrounding area. Including the pasture for your horse. Just follow the rules ......basically be safe and leave gates the way you found them (open or closed). The kitchen is not available for cooking meals other then use of the microwave, refrigerator, plates etc. Breakfast is included but plan on eating other meals out and the many local restaurants in the area. During your stay I am a people person. So I interact with my guests to the extent that they are comfortable with. From sharing stories and highlighting local attractions. To giving you your own space to just enjoy the nature and beauty of the ranch and the surrounding area. Your call. Other things to note If you like the Country you will love this. Lots to do and see both here on the ranch and close by. Lots of History on this property (Indian grinding holes, old gold mining works, ancient ranching/farming) and in the surrounding area including historic Nevada City and Grass Valley, Malakoff Diggins, Empire Mine, and South Yuba River State Parks and lots of near by lakes one close enough to hike/bike/ride too from the ranch. Just ask me......I enjoy hosting families, BUT for safety reasons it is not really suitable for children under 4 years old. I provide a full Country breakfast, but other meals should be enjoyed and one of the many nearby Restaurants.
