A clean, cool experience with all amenities needed for comfort. The Mid Century surf decor is perfect for a beach vacation. It will inspire as well as relax. From the house, it's an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants as well as to The Belmont Park Roller Coaster. It really is the perfect location on a really fun beach! We DO NOT allow parties! With only one house between the beach and the bungalow and duplex, the ocean breeze and the smell of salt air is continuous. Behind the duplex is our laundry facility, which is shared with all three units and is available 24 hours a day. Our laundry costs $1.50 a load and is on an honor system. Our cozy 950 square ft. beach bungalow is the perfect FAMILY vacation house. With only one house between the beach and the bungalow, the ocean breeze and the smell of salt air is continuous. Inside the bungalow, each light-filled bedroom has been decorated for your inspiration and relaxation. The master bedroom has a proper queen bed. And the two smaller bedrooms have true full beds. The living room sofa also turns down into a single bed. Lovely sheets and quality mattresses have been supplied to make yours a wonderful stay. The main shared bathroom has a tub and shower. And in the master bathroom, there is a comfortable single shower. We offer boogie boards, beach umbrella, and beach chairs for your use as well during the summer months or upon request. Other amenities that are provided (besides the basic stove and refrigerator) are coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster, outdoor BBQ, and all cooking supplies. The house is great for kids! Guest access There is a 2 car "tandem" parking space available and reserved for the bungalow. If your group has more than 2 cars, there is public parking available approx. 2 blocks from the house. And also un-permitted street parking is available and quite easy to access. Please note, that the property lots in Mission Beach are small as they were built in the 1930's and the city requires a certain amount of parking spaces. Our small lot, must by code, fit 4 cars. The bungalow thus shares the small lot with the 2 bedroom unit next to the bungalow. These spaces are very tight but totally doable and we've seen thousands of people figure it out since the property has been in our family and has been like this since 1976. If you have larger cars, such as an SUV it will be even tighter but again, doable, but please be advised again, that it will be tight unless your unit in rented and the other isn't. Other things to note Bike rentals are located 2 blocks from the house as well as surfboard rental, and surf and sailing lessons. PLEASE NOTE: This rental does not have AC. We do not offer AC in any of our units. Fans are provided in every room. The sea breeze is right there and that combined with the fans has been enough for 99% of people.
