A two minute walk away from the sea front and historic Lanes, this is one of the oldest houses in Brighton. Built in 1790 this unique 4 bedroom town house is spread over 5 floors, with views of the Palace Pier. Tall and skinny and perfectly positioned to enjoy Brighton. The space Built in the 1790's, this super stylish home is filled with a mix of antique and mid century furniture. The walls are filled with contemporary art. Light and bright in the summer months, cosy and romantic in the winter. It's a perfect space for sharing families - no toddlers though as there are plenty of stairs, being 5 floors tall. Typical of this period town house, the stairs are narrow and therefore not suitable for unsupervised young children or disabled. It is a very social house with a lovely open kitchen/diner, fully equipped with everything you would require to cook up a gastronomic feast. There is a marvellous selection of contemporary and vintage crockery to mix and match to your hearts content. Vintage afternoon tea or candle lit dinner, everything is in place for your culinary pleasure. Smeg oven/hob, microwave/convection oven, cusineart panini grill, kitchenaid blender, magi mix, slow juicer and the list goes on... The house and location is perfect for friends and family, romantic weekends, shopping trips or celebratory get togethers. The sea is a 2 minute walk as are the vast selection of cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs. The sitting room is light and comfy, ready to hang out and relax watching tv or listening to music. both the sitting room and kitchen have Bose docks and music can be accessed via spotify. The small garden is perfect in summer for alfresco dining and or to enjoy a glass or two before heading out to have fun by the sea. Lots to do, to see, to eat, drink and be merry. It really is brilliantly located for all that Brighton has to offer, fun for families or fun for sharing friends. There are 2 standard double bedrooms, large loft bedroom and one small double bedroom, all rooms have hotel quality linen and fresh towels. Quality shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, bath salts and foam, hand wash etc will be available. Any other requests can be made before stay. *Please note that this is not a party house, we do not accommodate hen/stag groups or party celebrations. Sedate celebrations, gatherings are more than welcome - but our home is not the place for booze fuelled party's Guest access As already mentioned in the description, we have a lovely, very independant cat. If you book for two nights or more and we can secure a kennel space, we will then kennel him if you so require. This will need advanced notice as kennels tend to be fully booked. This is our home, and while you are here please respect it as if it were yours! Accidents happens but can be dealt with effectively by immediate action. We request that you please return our home to us as you found it. Other things to note Whilst our home is situated in a vibrant and busy area, this is still a residential street - please respect our neighbours. This is the centre of the city and as such can be noisy, all the front windows have a brush system in place to reduce sound. Generally it would compare to Hoxton or Soho in London. We will always try to accommodate your check in and out requirements where possible and can offer a bag drop should you wish to explore Brighton on arriving before check in time and out times.
