Cozy and small private 1 bdr Garden apt in a 1913 Art Deco- 3 story Apt Building. 2 blocks away from Valencia St shopping and dining in the heart of the Mission District, 1 block from Bart yet secluded from the busy city life provides quite time from the hustle and bustle of city life. A large private patio, space with outdoor seating, propane fireplace/ heat lamp and small BBQ. Comfortably fits 2 but can 4 . The space Vibrant Mission District locale in a private accommodation. From a private street level entrance through outdoor hallway leading to your own private fenced garden apartment secluded from the hustle and bustle of city life where you will find a large patio, outdoor seating, heat lamp , small BBQ and table just outside door to garden apartment. In addition, there is a large doggie door and with enclosed patio as a well behaved dog will be considered upon prior approval. I would like to be upfront and honest with new guests. The garden apt is perfect for 1-2 people. I have had 3-4 people stay and those who had no problem with the space where usually close friends or a family with young kids and all loved to use the outdoor space and/or where out traveling around the city( i.e not spending a lot of time indoors) This is not a large 1 bedroom apt. On the other hand each room has its own tv with cable and streaming tv shows/movies so there is entertainment indoors. Guest access The 1 bedroom garden apartment can comfortably house 2 people and a family of 4. There is a very comfortable queen bed in the bedroom,with down pillow top mattress, futon couch that folds down to a single size bed ( pillow top mattress provided for futon bed), flat screen tv w/ cable (HBO premium service as well), Ipod dock and all luxury bedding and pillows provided to sleep 4. Living room has a another futon couch that folds down to a single size bed (pillow top mattress provided for this futon as well). A twin inflatable Aerobed is also available . LR has a second flat screen LED tv with cable, dvr and Roku ( for streaming netflix, etc) and most importantly, a lovely peaceful view of the garden outside. High Speed Wifi available. Efficient Kitchen includes brand new gas stove (19') , refrigerator . Also available for your convenience: toaster, microwave, french press/ coffee maker, blender, pots and pans, dishes and plates. From the living room the door leads directly into the private garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast. The bathroom features new fixtures including a brand new energy saving toilet. Plush towels. New washer and dryer available for guest stays of 5 days or longer upon request and in coordination with host as appliances are located in garage. Other things to note Minimum 3 night stay unless approved for 1 or 2 nights. We appreciate honest communication as to what our travelers are looking for. In return we want our guests to know that as part of our family we have two large dogs on the property in a separate unit and taken out in the backyard ( not for guests) always on leash( separated from garden apartment patio by a fence ) twice daily and as such barking may occur during those times. No parking available. Only Street parking which is permit parking and metered parking. There is a safe public garage 3 blocks away at 21st Bartlett street. However, walking, public transportation and uber/taxis are very convenient as well as car share locations within 2 blocks. And finally this is a family owned apartment building owned and lived in since the early 1960's by multi generations and as such it is a home much loved with many memories that we are happy to share with our guests.
