Cute eco cottage, by a gorgeous beach in sought after Kuaotunu on the Coromandel Peninsula.. Solar power, bamboo floors, non toxic paint & varnish used when building it. Wool insulation..warm & cosy in window. Just gorgeous in summer. 2 Bedrooms. One with a queen bed. The other with single bunks. The space "Thyme Out By The Sea is opposite beautiful Kuaotunu Beach, sixteen kms from Whitianga and by the sea. Enjoy this two bedroomed eco cottage. Beautifully decorated and fully self contained. Fantastic views of beach and also adjoining creek. Kayaks supplied. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a set of smaller single bunk beds. Rent one cottage or both cottages( the other is on Airbnb as well & is called "Wild Thyme by The Sea") The houses are separate, but joined by a huge deck. There is also a sleep out with a Queen bed & 2 single mattresses. The whole property can be rented for an arranged price. Also room for tents. There is a pull out couch in Wild Thyme. Extra guests $20 pp per night & maximum for whole property 16 people. By arrangement & if suitable, one well trained dog may be permitted. Check with us. Solar powered (with grid back up), bamboo floors, dishwashers,fenced. Kayaks available Outside shower (& inside of course). Also an extra outside toilet & fish cleaning sink. Beach front; unobstructed views and access right across the road. Great for body surfing and swimming. Collect mussels off the rocks and also fish from the beach, rocks or a kayak. Other things to note During the busiest period from 27th December to January 27th it is a one week minimum & we give priority to those booking both houses Otherwise 2 nights minimum Only one dog per house. Pooper scooping & keeping dog under control is essential. Well trained house dog is welcome.
