Our Western Village is a unique place located between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. Inspired by tiny living spaces we created a special place for those looking to visit the central coast. Whether you want to discover one of the many beautiful beaches, unique dining spots, enjoy wineries, ride your horse, shop the quaint towns, or simply sit back and enjoy some quiet time; we would love to be your host! We comply with all licensing laws, please message us for license information. Come experience the joys of tiny living spaces in our unique custom built western village. The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed, 2 chairs, and a desk space. The second room, we like to call the 'bunk house', has two adult size bunk beds. Each bunk has a small window that allows you a view of the ranch and the top bunk offers a fun unique twist to 'sleeping under the trees'. The bunk house room has hangers and space for hanging or folded clothes. There is a sliding glass door to a small back private patio area off the bunk house. The TV room is a great room for curling up anytime of the day to enjoy a DVD movie or stream your favorite show. We have free WiFi for our guests to enjoy. Last but not least is the bathroom and kitchen room. The bathroom has one sink, toilet, and shower. There are a few drawers and a medicine cabinet for storing your personal bathroom items. Basic items (towels, toilet paper, etc.) are provided. The kitchen area is your own private kitchen and is supplied with basic essentials (cups, plates, silverware, etc) There is a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, Keurig for coffee / tea, toaster oven, and a griddle in your kitchen area. We have a BBQ grill with one burner for eggs and such to be cooked up and an outside dining space for our village guests. There is not a laundry area in the western village. If you are staying for an extended period of time and need access to a laundry facility we can accommodate that, simply let us know. Important Pet Info! Please let us know if you are traveling with any animals so we can discuss further arrangements. We understand your pets are your family but pets are only allowed with PRIOR approval! We have a pet charge and a few rules so please message us if traveling with your pet. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times while on the property and may not be left home alone at anytime. Not to worry though there are plenty of places nearby to visit that are dog friendly and we are happy to share our list of nearby pet friendly places upon request. We do have horses living on property that we can introduce you to. Please DO NOT FEED them without asking. We do not do trail rides however, we can refer you to some amazing people if you’d like to book a horseback ride. Being so close to the beach it can get sandy here and our pasture is sand with Eucalyptus trees growing throughout. We also get a cool ocean breeze, especially at night, so don’t forget to pack warm clothes. Our guests will have the entire Western Village area to themselves and are welcome to wander around that space and down the grassy area of the main home. You can shoot some basketball hoops or play corn hole in the village area. We ask guests not to go down the driveway hill behind the main home as this is our private space and sign shop area where we are working. We like to arrange individually with our guests depending on your arrival time and who you are traveling with so we can be prepared for your arrival. We try to have any extra facilities you may need prepared for you before you arrive. Only 2 horse trailers or smaller can fit down our driveway. We live in the main house on the property so we are around and may see you outside. We are quiet people and we try our best to stay to the back side of our house in order to give our guests their own private space. We run our business, Avila Sign & Design, out of our shop area on the lower back side of our property. Therefore, you may see a customer come or go but this is typically unlikely, it is not a high traffic business and our guests are not disturbed. Our property is located in a quiet country like neighborhood that makes you feel like you are escaping the city, although we are just minutes away from town. It is a quick 5 minute drive to JJ's Market and a few close restaurants. We are about 10-15 mins from the darling Arroyo Grande Village. The village has charming little boutiques and great places for food and drinks in a nice quiet setting. You can quickly access the beaches of Oceano, Grover, or Pismo Beach. Just a few mins farther up the 101 you can discover Shell Beach with its tidepools or Avila Beach tucked away in the harbor. We have easy access to Hwy 1 and the 101 Freeway. Whatever you want to do it is very easy to access from our property. Check out our guidebook or message us for more recommendations. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us! The Western Village has its own parking space and we will send you directions and photos with your check in instructions prior to your arrival time. -Even if you are visiting during the Summer it can still get cold here in the early mornings/evenings due to us being so close to the Pacific Ocean so always bring a jacket or sweatshirt.
