This house is steps from the sandy beach (two block walk). It also sits less than a block from the entrance of a hiking park, an open baseball field, basketball hoops, public tennis courts, restaurants and good coffee shops. This house is newly remodeled with a lot of thought put into each detail. Walls of floor to ceiling windows in each room with a view of the water, ferries, and old growth forest next door, a huge living space, a massive deck off the primary bedroom, an office, and more. Note: the house is a duplex and this rental is for 2,000 square feet and two stories of the house with a huge deck. There is a small mother in law apartment rented below the house with a completely separate entrance however we do ask that guests maintain quiet hours at night and early mornings. [Also important note: this property is not kid-friendly for toddlers/young children. It does have some breakable art, interior wood starts without any baby gates, a rooftop deck, a fireplace with glass that could get hot to the touch. Everything is up to code but it's not as kid-friendly as other listings.] Downtown Seattle is just 10 mins away, depending on traffic and also if you drive or take the water taxi. The bus stop is about 10 steps in front of the house. The shuttle for the water taxi is also just in front of the house. There is plenty of on-street parking.
