We are located in the country on a one+ acre lot, 5 minutes from Radiant Church - Richland, 5 minutes from Gracespring Bible Church, 20 minutes from Bittersweet Ski Resort, 15 min. from K-zoo breweries & downtown, 20 minutes from airport, 3 min. from Gull Meadow Farm, 10 min from Gilmore Car Museum, 5 min from Gull Lake & Gull Lake Country Club. There is one queen sized bedroom with the Dish Network TV, one queen sized bedroom with DVD player, and the other two bedrooms have two twin beds each. The one bathroom has a double sink, one toilet, and a shower/tub combination. Any guests have the entire lower level space to themselves but are only charged for the space they use and the number of guests here. Each adult couple will be given an entrance code for the entrance, only used by guests to the downstairs level. The hosts do meet guests personally with a 5 minute "walk-through" orientation upon arrival. After that, guests come and go as needed using the unique door code for their entrance. We like our privacy and assume that most guests do as well, so we try to welcome guests warmly, explain the "lay of the land," give them a code for the door, our cell phone numbers, making ourselves available via phone for whatever whenever, but we stay completely in our own lives and space and expect that our guests will desire to do the same. We do live in the upper level. We are in a quiet, country setting, but only 5 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores (Meijer & Walmart), and other popular stores (Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Arby's, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, QDobas, Applebees, Starbucks, Biggby's, Pappa John, Hungry Howies, & more) Uber does pick up and deliver to our home, but there is often an extended wait for a pickup, since the drivers prefer to stay in Kalamazoo. For a small extra fee, we provide instant, personalized delivery to downtown & breweries areas. Guests will then have no difficulty instantly getting an Uber back to the property, which is about a 15 drive from the center of Kalamazoo. We offer discounted lift tickets to Bittersweet Ski Resort.
