A retreat cottage with meadow views

Set in a peaceful idyllic spot with glorious views of the Welsh hills and meadow, Heron Retreat is a one bedroom open plan cottage with its own garden in a lovely hamlet 5.5 miles from Brecon. There are walks from the door, or the Beacons nearby. The cottage sits within a lovely smallholding with lots of wildlife. The space There is a modern kitchen and big comfy bed. Please note there is no TV reception nor WIFI but loads of DVDS! Guest access There is a 6 acre meadow with a river to walk beside. We have pet sheep, chickens, donkeys and geese and ducks in the pond and herons over the river and hills. Nice dogs are welcome. Other things to note This is a very private place but the cottage does sit within a small but working smallholding. There are animals ~ domestic and wild ~and their sounds, and occasionally a person working within the landscape.
