Salento vacation home with private garden

I recently restored this ancient house, consisting of a bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower and a laundry room with washing machine. The vaults are star-shaped and the bedroom retains the original stone floor. The garden has a small citrus grove and a built-in barbecue. The house is in the historic center of Galugnano, a small town 10 km from Lecce, 20 km from the Adriatic and about 30 km from the Ionian, near the road that connects Lecce to Leuca. The space The house combines modern comforts, wifi, heating, air conditioning in the bedroom and ceiling fans in the others, kitchen with electric oven, with the ancient beauty of a fireplace, a fracassè, furnishings from the early 1900s and a beautiful furnished and pleasantly livable garden, with a convenient barbecue available to guests. The entire property, including the garden, is for the exclusive use of guests, with the exception of a small service room. Parking in Galugnano is not a problem. The house has two entrances, one from the main road and one from the garden, and there is little traffic in the village. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, except for a service room. The garden equipped with sofa, armchairs and sunshades is for the exclusive use of guests. The high walls and the presence of trees ensure tranquility and privacy. Other things to note The house has belonged to my family for generations and, in renovating it, I have adhered as much as possible to the original structure. The back wall of the bedroom has been restored to its original appearance, almost like a drywall, and in the kitchen the oven, the only survivor of the kitchenette, has been restored and works perfectly. The furniture is almost all from the early 1900s, restored and updated. The modern fireplace is built with Lecce stone slabs recovered during the restoration. The area adjacent to the barbecue in the garden (available to guests) was also paved with Lecce stone to connect to the adjacent seventeenth-century church of the Madonna dell'Annunziata.
