Montiano's Garden

The house has 2 floors : on ground floor a living room with a traditional fireplace and a large, fully equipped kitchen are located. From the living room you can access to the garden where there is a space to eat outside. The garden lies on a old stone quarry, which preserves amber coloured stone steps. Mediterranean plants create a harmonious environment witch recalls the local landscape. The upper floor consists of 3 bedrooms : 2 double rooms and a single room , there are 2 bathrooms. The space The house faces out on a vast landscape that arrives to the sea. The house and the village are immersed in the maremma countryside, full of vineyards, olive trees and surrounded by hills covered in mediterranean vegetetion. The ancient history of the territory lives again in the nearby roman town of Cosa-Ansedonia, the etruscan walls of Orbetello, the medieval fortress of Talamone, the spanish fortifications of Monte Argentario, and the collection of the archeological museum of Grosseto. Local gastronomic specialities are easily found on the local farms, almost all of which are organic. It is possible to go horseback riding in the area. You can also rent bicycles and take advantage of the many cycling routes in the surrounding area.
