Yurt in Sigonce
Description
My place is close to the village of Sigonce (1.5 km) in the direction of Montlaux and Montagne de Lure, in the heart of the Luberon Nature Park. The town of Forcalquier, home of the Counts of Provence and famous for its four queens, is 10 km (6 miles) away. Several writers have been inspired by this region, including Jean Giono. The Durance Valley, the Valensole Plateau, the Lavender Route, the Verdon Gorges, and the hilltop villages attract many walkers with the beauty of the landscapes. The space You will discover a different way of living that respects the environment, a return to the essentials, and a foretaste of Mongolian adventure. Situated on a 5-hectare plot, this 27-m² yurt is insulated with yak felt and set on a wooden floor. You will be in direct contact with nature and calm. Spending a night or a few days in the magic of the circle is a transformative experience of serenity and harmony. Being close to nature does not mean rejecting comfort. A cabin with shower, sink and dry toilet (out of respect for the environment) is nearby for your convenience. The dry toilets are not connected to a septic tank; you just need to use sawdust to prevent any odor or nuisance. Guest access You can drive up to the yurt to drop off your luggage and personal belongings and then return to the parking area to park your car. Other things to note In addition to the beds, you will find a small sitting area with a kettle and an electric coffee maker available. Picnic basket on request: 15 euros Electric space heater from October to April. On-demand laundry service: 5 euros The tourist tax is 0.40 euros per person Linens and towels included. No dogs allowed.
