We'd like to share our special house with you, we're lucky enough to own a lavender farm ,surrounded by amazing country views with the spectacular Maiella mountains in the background. We've rebuilt The Melograno House with original antique Abruzzo bricks and have created a retro house with a mix of old and new. We're close to the great towns of Vasto, Termoli and Lanciano with their clean and beautiful beaches , only a couple of hours away from Rome and 40 mins from Pescara airport. The space The Melograno House is a original country house.We are located with outstanding views of the mountains which are snow topped in winter and spring, the view of the sea and the rolling hills full of vineyards and olive groves.The house has been completely renovated using antique bricks and the interior is a retro mix of 1960's and vintage. We've tried to make it special and unique and the lavender field in front of the house is amazing. A house with a special feel, in an amazing natural location. The Melograno House is completely independent however our main house is quite near and it is where we both live. Our aim is to give you all the privacy you need when we are around but also be available to give you any advice you may need. Guest access Please enjoy the Melograno House, it's completely seperate from our main house.You can park in the private drive way.You have access to the garage where the washing machine is located and the washing lines are to the right of the drive behind the Olive tree. Please enjoy the lavender fields,the lower lavender field has a swinging bed hammock next to it, as of August 2024 the top field has been cleared of lavender and will be replanted in February 2025.Enjoy our land with it's fruit trees and please help yourself to our fruit.The lavender plants are in our lower field, in our cottage garden and behind the Melograno House. The woodland area with hammocks is for your use too and we also have an outdoor solar shower for your use especially after a beach trip. Other things to note Please enjoy all the land and gardens: the woodland area with hammocks,the lavender field, fruit orchard and back garden with raised beds.There are deck chairs and sun beds in the garage you can borrow for use in our gardens or at local beaches.There is a table and chairs on your decking area and also please use the patio with the chairs next to the lavender field.The outdoor shower is also for your use. The Melograno House is in the countryside so you will hear the sounds of dog's barking and the sounds of birds and tractors. Although we do not accept pets at the Melograno house ,we do now have another airbnb in the small village of Villalfonsina, 10 minutes away from The Melograno, which is pet friendly called La Cantina.
